IMRG is working with the National Business Awards to support its 2013 campaign to find Britain’s best Digital Businesses and celebrate their contribution to the economy in the run up to the twelfth annual awards ceremony to take place in November.
Open to any UK organisation trading online, this Award recognises those best optimising all aspects of the web to achieve consistent growth and strong financial performance through exceptional delivery, customer experience, and innovation. Previous online winners of National Business Awards have included Econsultancy, Naked Wines, Luxury for Less and Zaggora – which won the E Commerce Strategy of the Year award in 2012.
Andrew McClelland, IMRG’s Chief Operations & Policy Officer said: “The e commerce sector is ever growing and changing, and this award will celebrate that by finding the best Digital Business in the UK. By raising awareness of our industry to national prominence through these Awards, e-commerce itself is gaining recognition for its contribution to the UK economy and its recovery.”
Alex Evans, Programme Director of the National Business Awards commented: “We have been working with IMRG for the last three years to identify those championing growth, innovation and excellence in e commerce and we have recognised some of the most transformational and disruptive players. As we celebrate the economic contribution of the burgeoning e commerce industry, we hope that its leaders step up to demonstrate the very best models and platforms in the country..”
