TNT Post UK bags Tesco
One of largest postal deals in UK, up to 180 million items per yearLondon 22 March:
TNT Post, Britain’s largest private postal operator, has been appointed by Tesco to manage one of the country’s largest mail contracts, handling up to 180 million items per year.
The deal, which began in February, will see TNT Post handle mailings for a range of Tesco initiatives, including all customer communications from Tesco Clubcard and Tesco Bank. Its Clubcard scheme alone sends several mailings per year to more than 15 million households.
The contract of up to 180 million items a year is one of the most sought after in the postal sector, and was awarded following a competitive process.
