LONDON, UK –
DataCash, a global payments provider, and Magento’s Enterprise Partner
Session Digital have recently announced the outcome of their joint project carried out for Dreams, helping the leading bed retailer revitalise its online presence and reflect Dreams’ in-store experience within the virtual environment – resulting in a 145% increase in online orders.
The collaboration developed a new interactive website that not only increased sales and provided a genuine multi-channel experience, but also allowed even the most security conscious customers to complete the payment in a safe, quick, and uncomplicated manner.
Dreams’ online shop can now provide customised product recommendations, intelligently respond to customers’ different buying habits and recognise the impact of their location on decisions whether to purchase online or in-store, which has helped increase the traffic levels by 58%.
Gary Robinson, eCommerce director for Dreams explains:
“Our website should be an extension of our in-store experience, reflecting our brand values, customer service, professional advice and expertise. The key to achieving this doesn’t just lie in clever design, but in providing a user experience that treats customers as individuals. We were always confident that Session Digital had the proven track record and Magento expertise we needed to make this a reality”. Additionally, in order to satisfy customers’ individual payment requirements the retailer accepts a wide range of internet payment options, mail orders and telephone orders, whilst continually screening against fraudulent activity.
“Allowing customers to use their preferred payment method and offering a safe and simple checkout has always been a priority for us. DataCash provided us with multi-channel, end-to-end payment processing services which not only helped us reduce operational costs, but also enhanced the customer experience“, explains Gary.
Ajay Bhalla, president at DataCash said:
“Keeping up with eCommerce growth often requires merchants to utilise up to five separate payment gateways in order to support different payment types, multiple currencies and fraud screening services. Our advanced payments technology integrates Dreams various payment channels and with Session Digital’s experience in the Magento platform, the retailer can now provide its customers a truly exceptional shopping experience”.
