IMRG Retailer v-Forums
IMRG’s v-Forums provide our retailer members with a quick and easy facility for submitting queries anonymously for our solution provider members to respond to.
The v-Forums are set up by retailer department (Trading, Marketing, Business Development etc). In order to join the v-Forum appropriate to your role, simply send an email to the corresponding address from the list at the bottom of this page; there is also an ‘Executive’ one for those who head multiple departments. You do not have to submit a query in order to join.
Once we receive your initial join request, we will add your address to the member list for that v-Forum. Any query that you wish to submit to your chosen v-Forum address is received by IMRG only. The query will be passed onto an appropriate solution provider anonymously, and their response will be communicated back through IMRG to the v-Forum as a whole.
Once you join a v-Forum, there is no requirement upon you to actually submit queries; you will receive responses to any other questions posted periodically. This enables you to keep informed of possible solutions to the kinds of issues that your peers are experiencing.
In terms of the responses themselves, we will identify a solution provider well-placed to answer the query then request that they submit a comment response in no more than 250 words. This response will be sent to all members of the relevant v-Forum.
The rules for solution provider comment responses are as follows:
- no marketing in the response, other than respondent’s photo, logo, name, job title and contact details;
- links are at IMRG’s discretion, only included if add value to the piece;
- must focus on the question asked;
- no mention of products.
The estimated turnaround time for a response will be within 1 week.
