We asked Sara about how she benefits personally and how Space NK are able to enhance their ecommerce operations through their memberhsip.
What do you think IMRG does well as a membership community?
“IMRG brings businesses together to discuss the challenges we have in common. The community also offers the opportunity for us to openly share solutions, in turn, improving our ecommerce strategy.“
Can you tell us a bit about your job role and how IMRG fits into that?
“As Trading Director, it’s my job to remove friction from our customer’s shopping journey and the insight and successes from other businesses are gratefully received.“

Which of IMRG’s benefits would you say your company benefits most from?
“Sharing successes and failures is definitely where we benefit most from being part of the IMRG community.“
Can you give any specific examples of how your company has benefitted from being an IMRG member?
“Being able to see data trends from similar sized businesses and those within the same sector is hugely beneficial for me and my team. Being able to compare your own trends gives you either comfort or concern!“
Can you share an example of where IMRG insight has helped you deliver an improvement in online performance.? e.g improving a key metric.
“We were once debating whether to move to a one-page checkout. Having seen an IMRG’s website survey that concluded a one-page checkout was not the be-all of optimal funnel performance, we decided to stick to our 2-3 page model. “
How do you benefit from attending IMRG’s events (virtual or non-virtual)?
“They offer good networking opportunities & are also good fun. I often leave the events feeling comforted that everyone is on the same boat, finding the same challenges, and we are not doing things too far wrong. I’m looking forward to the occasional real-life event again though.“
If you were to sum up your experience as an IMRG member, what would you say?
“There is a good community feel to the membership helped by a really open and relaxed team at IMRG who always make you feel welcome. For those bombarded by membership requests and invites to events, the IMRG ones are actually some of the few worth attending.“
