IMRG's Weekly Retail Data Show #61

With the turbulent year we’ve had, it comes as no surprise this has been mirrored in the performance of the eCommerce market. With certain sectors booming, others dipping, and most fluctuating - we take this opportunity to give you a full review of the eCommerce market over the past 6 months.

We look at the highs and lows of the past year, looking specifically at how the different stages of the pandemic have affected the online retail market and the various categories we track. With the high street reopening on 12 April, both April and May saw MOM declines much sharper than normal - we look to give you an overview of how big these dips were and how much certain sectors were affected.

Also, what does the last 18 months mean for retailers when looking at their 2022 marketing budgets? IMRG’s Andrew McClelland, in conversation with Mark Choueke of Mention Me, discuss collaborative marketing, encouraging brand advocates and driving a personalised approach to community marketing. With Black Friday round the corner they'll also explore ways in which retailers can engage further with their customers.

Finally, Loqate show what they've seen across their 19,000 global customers and how retailers can build a checkout for the future.
